The Drug Free Safety Program (DFSP) is BWC's new safety/loss prevention program that rewards employers with premium discounts for implementing a program that promotes the safety and health of workers. DFSP is designed to reduce the risk of workplace accidents and injuries attributed to use of alcohol and other drugs.

CareWorks Consultants in conjunction with Riskcontrol360° assists in all components necessary for your success, including policy development, employee education, supervisor training, administration of drug and alcohol testing, provision of Employee Assistance resources and development/distribution of materials to help you stay abreast of important drug and alcohol statistics and regulatory changes.

DRUG-FREE SAFETY PROGRAM:

Employers must complete and submit a Drug-Free Safety Program application (Form U-140). There are two enrollment periods each year. Public employer taxing districts may only enroll for a January start.
