Two Hour Safety Training Webinars

CareWorks Consultants, Inc. and RiskControl360 are offering numerous two-hour safety trainings webinars throughout the 2012 policy year (July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013). Two hours of safety training is mandatory every policy year, per the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC), for all employers participating in a group rating or group retrospective plan who have experienced a workers’ compensation claim(s) within the two prior calendar years (January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011) regardless of the claim’s size or severity.

These trainings allow employers to stay informed about current workplace safety trends and regulatory developments, all from the convenience of their own business or home computer. We encourage people to take advantage of these web-based safety training opportunities that are being offered throughout the policy year.

Registration

To register for a webinar, click on “Register with GoToMeeting” next to the date that you wish to attend and complete the electronic registration form. Participation in one webinar fulfills the two-hour requirement and a participation fee of $40 is invoiced following the completion of the webinar.
